Cypress

Some scents take you somewhere specific. Cypress takes you somewhere ancient — a hillside above the ocean where wild cypress trees have grown for centuries, unbothered by time or weather or anyone's opinion of them. It opens with the sharp brightness of lemon zest, clean and brief, before the cypress and white cedar take hold — resinous, green, deeply alive. Clove leaf adds a quiet darkness underneath. Patchouli, wood, and musk settle it into the skin slowly, like roots finding their depth.

It is a wild hillside scent. A salt wind through old trees scent. The smell of something that has been here long before you arrived and will be here long after.

The candle Hand-poured in our Haiku, Maui studio in a frosted 10 oz signature vessel. Eight ounces of clean-burning coconut apricot wax, toxin-free fragrance, and a lead-free wick. Approximately 40–50 hours of burn time.

Trim your wick to ¼ inch before each burn. On your first lighting, allow the wax to pool fully to the edges — this sets the memory of your candle and ensures an even burn every time.
